For three decades, the Adult Learning Resource Center (ALRC) has served as the primary source of support for Illinois ESL instructors and program administrators. The ALRC provides professional development opportunities and technical assistance that reflect and respond to current issues and trends in ESL.

The ALRC provides training and technical assistance for ESL and IELCE (Integrated English Literacy and Civics Education) educators throughout Illinois through workshops, online courses, and other activities. See the ICCB PD Course Catalog  for details on current offerings.
